Legends of Runeterra | Spirit Blossom: First Bloom Evelynn Key Art

This key illustration was used to promote the "Spirit Blossom: First Bloom" event in the digital card game Legends of Runeterra by Riot Games.

The art teased the arrival of a new Spirit Champion as well as three in-game playable cards: Fated Supplicant, Occult Opportunist and Spirits’ Embrace.

Careful design choices created an attention-grabbing composition without giving too much away.

It was eventually revealed that the new Champion was the formidable Evelynn, the ancient demon who feeds on human suffering.

Well done to those who figured out the mystery…
