Riftbound | Overnumber Card Art

Introducing champion cards for Riftbound, the League of Legends trading card game from studio Riot Games.

These cards are part of a series of ‘Overnumber’ variants we produced, ultra-rare alternate-art versions of core champion cards. Featuring Azir, Emperor of the Sand, Draven, Glorious Executioner and Rumble, Mechanized Menace.

To really make these variants stand out from other cards, we adopted a unique oil painting approach. The team had fun taking on this visual challenge, exploring new tools and stylization techniques. As always, the artists each took great care to ensure these pieces look great both digitally and when printed.
