League of Legends Cinematic “Twilight: The Warning” VisDev

We’re excited to share a selection of visual development sketches our team created in collaboration with Riot Games for the League of Legends cinematic “Twilight: The Warning.”
Our first task focused on exploring the Temple of Twilight, an ancient structure built by the Kinkou Order and located within the Spirit Realm. We developed multiple environment sketches from different angles to help define its atmosphere and history.
For the second task, we imagined several iconic Demacian locations, reinterpreting them as twisted, ruined landscapes after being warped into a Darkin nightmare.
It was an inspiring project, and we’re proud to share a glimpse into the visual development behind this cinematic.
